Acknowledgements

Place data: GeoNames (geonames.org), CC BY 4.0. The app's offline place list is built from the GeoNames cities1000 dump of 23 September 2026, trimmed to each place's name, region, country, coordinates, time zone and population. Provided as is, without warranty.

Planetary ephemeris: NASA/JPL DE440, obtained from NAIF (naif.jpl.nasa.gov). The app includes a 1900 to 2100 date-range subset with the coefficients unaltered. NAIF rules. No affiliation with or endorsement by NASA or JPL is implied.

Chiron: positions derived from state vectors from the Solar System Dynamics Group, Horizons On-Line Ephemeris System, Jet Propulsion Laboratory. No endorsement is implied.

Astronomical models: the IAU 2000A nutation model and IAU 2006 precession (International Astronomical Union), and Earth-orientation (delta T) data derived from the IERS finals2000A.all series.

Skyfield and jplephem by Brandon Rhodes, MIT licence. The app's delta T and nutation tables are exported from Skyfield 1.54 data, and parts of their algorithms are ported to Swift.

Places found with the optional "Search Apple Maps" come from Apple Maps.
