How do I restore my purchases?

Make sure your iPhone is signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID you used to subscribe, then tap Restore Purchases in the app. Your subscription is linked to that Apple ID, so it comes back on a new or reset iPhone too.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the iPhone's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Lightcode Astrology and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period (or free trial) ends to avoid the next charge; you keep access until the end of the period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app: touch and hold its icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App. Your birth details, notes, reminders, settings and saved location are only ever stored on your iPhone, so this removes them all. We have no copy on a server. If you use iCloud Backup or back up to a computer, older backups may still contain the app's data until they are replaced or deleted.

What does the Clock use my location for?

Only to draw the houses of the current sky on the Clock. The app asks for approximate location while you are using it, rounds it to about 1 km, keeps only the latest position on your iPhone and never sends it anywhere. If you prefer not to share it, choose a city instead. You can change the permission in Settings, under Privacy & Security, Location Services. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Can other people see my note reminders?

When a reminder goes off, iOS shows the note's text in the notification, which can appear on your Lock Screen. To hide it, go to Settings, Notifications, Lightcode, and change Show Previews.

Does the app need the internet?

No. The calendar, the Clock and the ephemeris are calculated on your iPhone. The app goes online only if you tap "Search Apple Maps" to find a place that isn't in its built-in list, and when you subscribe, restore a purchase or the app checks your subscription with Apple.
